Questions

The short ones are here. For anything else, ask below.

What is Quartz?

A document editor with AI built into the page. You write as you would in a word processor, and when you have a question you ask up to three AI models at once, side by side, about the document in front of you. What goes into the document is your call.

Which AI models answer?

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Kimi and DeepSeek. Pick up to three for any question; each answers in its own column, and you can keep the one you like, copy it, or add it to the document.

Why ask more than one?

Because a single answer has nothing to check it against. Different models make different choices and different mistakes. Where they agree you have a common view to weigh; where they differ you have something to look into. The final call is still yours.

Can I start using Quartz today?

Quartz is opening access through its waitlist. You can explore the public demo, then join the waitlist for your own workspace. Signing in is for people who already have access.

Is my work used to train AI models?

Quartz does not train models on your work. The AI providers that answer your questions have their own terms for the requests they process. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Can I bring in a Word document?

Yes. Import a Word document or a PDF, or drop one onto the page, and export back to Word or PDF at any time. Comments export as real Word comments.

Does it work on a phone?

The website works in a phone browser, for writing and for chat. There is no app yet.
