What MCP does
The Model Context Protocol is a standard for connecting AI applications to external tools and data. The server and the application determine what is exposed and which actions are available.
A protocol alone does not guarantee a working integration. A useful connection needs authentication, permissions, supported operations, and a clear interface for the person using it.

If a specific connection is essential to your use case, wait for explicit documentation of that integration. A waitlist invitation is not a promise that a particular server or operation will be supported.
What to check in any connected AI tool
- Which information the connection can read and which actions it can take.
- How access is granted, reviewed, and revoked.
- Whether the tool shows enough context for you to understand an action before it happens.
- What happens when the connection fails or returns incomplete information.

There is no current setup UI for a custom MCP server. Existing backend support should not be read as a self-service integration feature.

No. Connected tools are disabled in the public demo.

Quartz is opening access through its waitlist. You can explore the public demo, then join the waitlist for your own workspace. Signing in is for people who already have access.
