Give both the difficult paragraph
An easy writing task tells you little about a workflow. Choose a paragraph where the claim is too broad, the evidence is incomplete, or the audience is likely to disagree. Ask for a diagnosis before asking for nicer wording.
In Quartz, compare what each response notices. One may identify a missing comparison while another focuses on an unsupported leap. Those are hypotheses to evaluate, not automatically valid criticisms.
Context matters more than a clever prompt
Claude Projects let you organize knowledge and instructions for focused work. That can be a good fit for repeated work with a consistent brief.
Our suggested test for Quartz is more specific: can you question a draft, follow a competing view, and place a chosen passage without losing your train of thought? That is the experience the document workspace is built around.

A fluent rewrite can quietly change the meaning. Compare the claim before and after, check every new factual statement, and read the passage in the surrounding document. The workflow should make that review easier.
Try a small passage before moving an entire project. A useful tool earns a place in your process one real improvement at a time.

Does agreement between AIs mean the answer is correct?
No. Agreement can help you identify a common view, but models can share an error. Check important claims against original evidence. Different answers are a reason to investigate, not a vote you have to follow.
Is this a benchmark of model intelligence?
No. This is a comparison of documented product workflows and Quartz’s current interface. We have not run a controlled performance benchmark or assigned model scores.
